SALT LAKE CITY — Two people were injured in a crash between a car and a motorcycle Sunday afternoon in Salt Lake City.
Around 4 p.m., the motorcycle with two riders collided with a car at the intersection of 300 West and 800 South.
One of the riders is in critical condition and the other in serious condition, SLC Police Lt. Steve Wooldridge said.
Details on what happened in the crash were not immediately available.
Wooldridge used the crash as a reminder to drivers that motorcycles and bicycles will always be out in larger numbers when the weather is warmer and mild.
"Everyone needs to be exceptionally cautious," he said, "whether they're on a 2-wheeled vehicle or 4-wheeled vehicle or larger."
