NORTH OGDEN, Utah — Three people have been arrested in a homicide investigation after a fatal shooting in North Ogden early Saturday morning.

The deceased victim was 29-year-old Dalton Wood of North Ogden.

Officers from North Ogden City and Weber/Morgan Homicide Task Force Detectives arrested 32-year-old Ryan Joseph Dash and 38-year-old Angela Lynn Valdez, both of Ogden.

28-year-old Brian Christopher Jenson of Brigham City was also arrested.

According to a probable cause statement, Dash was identified as a possible suspect in the case.

After initially attempting to flee from officers, Dash surrendered and was transported to the North Ogden Police Department where he was interviewed.

He initially denied any knowledge of the shooting, but later admitted he shot Wood with a handgun and a shotgun.

He also insisted he acted alone in firing the weapons, and that he disposed of the firearms and burned his clothing.

Dash is on parole and restricted from possessing a firearm.

Jenson was apprehended by police and admitted to being with Dash and others, but denied shooting Wood.
