A Utahn quarantined on an Air Force base in California tested positive for coronavirus Tuesday.
Mark Jorgensen of St. George was on the Diamond Princess cruise ship quarantined in Japan. His wife, Jerri, tested positive earlier this month and was taken to a hospital in Japan.
John Haering of Tooele was also on board the ship and was the first Utahn to test positive for the virus.
Mark, along with many other Americans on the ship, was transported to a U.S. Air Force base in California to begin a second quarantine. Others were taken to Texas.
While there, he announced via Facebook that he tested positive for coronavirus.
