Sandy City Police are asking the public for any information regarding a shooting that happened late Friday night.
Authorities say the 16-year-old victim met up a group in the area of 7900 South and 400 East around 11:00 p.m.
Some sort of exchange happened, and that's when they believe a suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, and as of Saturday morning, is in critical but stable condition.
Sandy City Police are currently trying to determine suspects. All parties involved are believed to be juveniles.
