SALT LAKE CITY — Another week, another Utah game canceled.
The Pac-12 Conference announced Tuesday that Sunday's Utah game at Arizona State has been canceled due to the Sun Devils not having enough players to compete due to positive COVID-19 tests.
According to a social media post by the conference, Arizona State does not have the minimum number of scholarship players available for the game. The first two games of Utah's season were called off due for the same reason of not reaching the limit of available players.
The game is third of the season canceled for the Utes following the first two games against Arizona and UCLA being called off. Utah finally took the field Saturday in a 33-17 loss to USC.
The Arizona State game was originally scheduled for Saturday, but was pushed back a day on the schedule.
