Two Wasatch High School students are facing misdemeanor charges of threats against a school, and felony charges of threats of terrorism.
The students were taken into custody by resource officers Saturday, following statements made to another student about a possible threat against the school on Friday.
They have since been transferred to a juvenile detention center.
The investigation into the threats is ongoing, but authorities have confirmed there is no current threat to the school, and classes will resume as scheduled Monday morning.
In a joint statement, the Wasatch County School District, Heber City Police, and Wasatch County Sheriff's Office commended the student who came forward, adding that any possible threat is taken seriously, and addressed accordingly by all agencies involved.
