HURRICANE, Utah — A man was killed early Thursday after a horse ran through a guard rail at Legacy Park race track in Washington County.
According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, the man was riding the horse when the animal got spooked and ran into a PVC guard rail surrounding the track.
The unidentified man died of his injuries, although it's not known if he was trampled by the horse or by being thrust into the rail.
