SALT LAKE CITY — "Method" is voluntarily recalling a specific lot number of 12 ounce gel hand wash in the scent "sea minerals."
The affected products have been sold in Albertson's stores in Salt Lake City since the beginning of October. All other Method products, including the hand wash refills are safe to use.
The company discovered the hand soap contained a bacteria that is most commonly found in soil and water. Although the bacteria is not usually dangerous to healthy people, those with a weakened immune system have a greater risk of infection.
Customers who think they have the hand wash can click here to check the lot number and see if they qualify for a full refund.
