SALT LAKE CITY — A man is behind bars after a call over a stolen golf cart at a Salt Lake City apartment complex turned into a homicide investigation.

Police were originally called to reports of a man driving a stolen golf cart on Friday.

When they apprehended 54-year-old William Bradley, police say he was covered in blood and told them he had "been in a fight with the terminator and killed him"

Robert Carter, 58, was later found dead inside Bradley's apartment.

Bradley was taken to the hospital for cuts and bruises. While there, police say he became combative, assaulting an emergency room doctor, two security guards and a police officer.

He faces charges of murder, theft, and several counts of assault.
