The newly announced temples will bring the total number worldwide to 230, which includes those that are still under construction or have been announced but not begun yet.
The temple in Lindon will be the 25th in Utah.
"We look forward to working with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as they design and construct a temple within Lindon City. What a great opportunity to welcome people to our community as they come to visit this future building," Lindon City wrote in a Facebook post. "We anxiously await their formal announcement of the exact location within the city."
