CAPITOL REEF NATIONAL PARK, Utah — The Cathedral Valley (Caineville Wash) Road is nearly impassable due to large areas of sand.
A tweet from Capitol Reef National Park advises visitors to use extreme caution or avoid the area. Several vehicles have recently needed assistance to get out of the sand. These conditions exist both north and south of the turn to the Temples of the Sun and Moon.
