SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — The campaign office of Democratic presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg was vandalized Friday night.
According to Communications Director Catherine Sant Marr, windows were broken and multiple rocks were found inside the office on 243 East and 400 South on Saturday morning.
Utah State Director Lauren Littlefield issued a statement saying, "We are disheartened by the vandalism at our Salt Lake City headquarters. We know that emotions can run high in politics but we also know that even when we disagree, Utahns find common ground in civil discourse. We strongly condemn this act of vandalism but we are laser focused on Super Tuesday and will continue to share Mike’s message about unifying our country with Utah voters.”
Salt Lake City Police are investigating, but they do not have any video, witnesses, or suspects.
They also aren't sure if this was a targeted attack, or a random act of violence.
If you have any information, you are asked to call the Salt Lake City Police Department.
This is a developing story.
