After former Minneapolis, Minnesota police officer Derek Chauvin was convicted of George Floyd's murder Tuesday, activists gathered in Salt Lake City.
The group first met outside the Salt Lake City Police headquarters, where they both celebrated the ruling and called for further action against police brutality.
The crowd then walked about a mile and a half across town to "Fleet Block," where murals of people killed by police — including Floyd — were painted last summer.
The rally ended around 8:30 p.m.
