Suspected intoxicated driver crashes into railroad crossing arm in Roy

ROY, Utah — A man is behind bars after crashing into a railroad crossing arm.

According to the Roy City Police, the accident occurred just before 7:30 Saturday morning.

The driver, believed to be intoxicated, hit the railroad crossing arm at the 6000 South railroad crossing.

The suspect has been taken into custody, and there are no injuries reported.

6000 South is closed in both directions between 2550 West and 2350 West while Union Pacific is on scene working to replace the damaged arm.
