PROVO, Utah — Police in Provo are asking for the public's help after two cats were found shot with blow darts recently.
Photos shared by police Thursday show a small cat with a blow dart stuck in its body. Police say this was the second instance of a cat being hit with a dart.
The dart punctured one of the cat's lungs, but it is now recovering at a shelter after being treated at Mountain West Animal Hospital.
Police ask anyone who knows who may have struck the cats with darts to contact Animal Control Officer Michelle Proctor at mproctor@provo.org.
