PROVO, Utah — A Provo resident is in critical condition after a man living in the same home thought there was an intruder and shot the person.
Police say they were called to the home in the 1600 block of 81 South at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The man told police he accidentally shot someone he had mistaken for an intruder, but the victim was actually another resident of the house.
The victim is in critical condition and is being questioned by police to determine if any charges will be filed.
