PROVO, Utah — The liquor and wine store in downtown Provo is temporarily closed because of possible exposure to COVID-19.
In a tweet sent out Thursday, The Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control said they are awaiting on further instruction from the Utah County Health Department on protocols.
All employees of the store have been sent home to quarantine.

Due to exposure to Covid, employees of the Provo store have been sent home to quarantine. We are awaiting word from the Utah Co Health Dept on protocols. We wish our employees well and will update on twitter how long the store will remain closed.
The Provo location is one of six State Liquor Stores in Utah County. Most recently, a store was opened in Saratoga Springs.

There are currently 48 Utah liquor stores that are run by The Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
