SALT LAKE CITY — A crowd gathered outside the Utah State Capitol Friday evening for the sixth protest in seven days in Salt Lake City.

Demonstrators held signs calling for an end to police brutality and racial injustice, speakers addressed the crowd. So far there have been no reports of clashes with law enforcement.

Shortly before 9 p.m., the crowd began marching toward downtown.

A group also gathered at 300 West and 900 South, where 22-year-old Bernardo Palacios was shot and killed by police on May 23. Bodycam footage from three SLCPD officers involved was released Friday afternoon.
