SALT LAKE CITY — Police are looking for a suspect who fired shots near a Salt Lake City park, injuring multiple people.
Three people were transported to area hospitals in critical condition Sunday afternoon after the shooting, which took place at about 2600 E. Heritage Way, near Tanner Park, around 4 p.m.
Two of the three were shot; Police did not say how the third person was injured.
The suspect fled the scene. Police said they believe they know who they are looking for and are not asking for the public's help at this time, although they did not know what the relationship between the suspect and victims was as of early Sunday evening.
