Police ask for help to identify vehicle involved with South Salt Lake shooting

SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah — Police are asking for help to identify a vehicle involved in a shooting that took place Friday morning in South Salt Lake City.

The incident happened around 6:30 a.m. at the Maverik gas station at 3300 South West Temple.

The shooting left a 28-year-old man in serious condition after he was shot in the face. Police say the victim is now in stable condition.

Police report that they are looking for a gray or silver 2004 Dodge Durango with the license plate "F141EJ." The vehicle has a missing hub cap on the rear passenger side and a large dent on the front passenger door.

The suspect(s) is considered to be armed and dangerous. Police ask that if you see the vehicle to not approach it and to immediately call 911.
