OGDEN, Utah — With just the wave of her hand, one woman in the Ogden community is helping hundreds smile and remember to “have a good day” — that’s her motto.
Denise Officer spent 22 years serving as a staff sergeant in the Utah Guard, the Army Guard and Air Guard.
That's why the kids she serves now, calls her "Sergeant."
