SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah — Traffic was stopped along 2100 South in South Salt Lake after a Utah Transit Authority streetcar was struck by a vehicle that ran a red light Wednesday.
The incident involving the S-Line train occurred at 10:42 a.m.
No one was injured in the accident, and vehicle traffic was reopened in both directions within about 20 minutes.
Despite vehicle traffic operating as normal, UTA implemented a van bridge between the South Salt Lake City and 300 East stations.
