Officials investigate fatal road rage incident near Jordanelle State Park

WASATCH COUNTY, Utah — A body was discovered Thursday at or near Jordanelle State Park in Wasatch County, officials reported.

Officials say it may be related to a road rage incident at 11 p.m. Wednesday night. They believe there is no immediate threat to the public at this time.

The identity of the victim, a 61-year-old man, will not be released at this time.

The body was located on the shoulder of the road outside of the car in the Rose Creek trailhead area near the Jordanelle State Park.

The cause of death is not confirmed at this time.

A section of the park is currently closed to visitors while officials investigate the death.
