The body of a 73-year-old Keith Jerome Franklin was found at 10:16 a.m. near 2600 South in Davis County.

According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the driver had originally left their vehicle on the roadway. When they returned to remove it, they noticed the body between a concrete barrier and sound wall, which UHP acknowledged was "a spot not easily visible from the freeway."

It's believed that Franklin's body had been in the area no longer than a week.

UHP and the Utah State Bureau of Investigation are investigating the incident, but said Franklin showed no "apparent signs" of foul play.
