SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah — Intermountain Healthcare will be building a new medical campus in Saratoga Springs.
Intermountain announced the plans for the 40-acre site on Friday. It will be located on the corner of Pioneer Crossing and Crossroads Blvd. — near an existing Intermountain clinic and InstaCare, which the company says will continue providing primary care, specialty care, physical therapy and rehabilitation services.
The new facility will include a free-standing emergency department with an ambulatory surgery center, with additional services to be added "when appropriate to accommodate community growth," the company said.
Groundbreaking will take place later this year. The expected completion timeline is still to be determined.
Intermountain is also currently building a second Primary Children's Hospital in Lehi, which is expected to be completed in 2023.

“Both projects reflect the rapid and sustained growth in northern Utah County,” Intermountain American Fork Hospital administrator Jason Wilson said. “This area is a wonderful place to live and people are moving here every day — we are thrilled to be a part of caring for these vibrant communities.”
Saratoga Springs city leaders also look forward to the new addition.
“As a city, we are excited about this announcement. This investment in our area has been in the works for a few years, and Intermountain Healthcare has diligently worked with the staff and local leaders to understand our needs on the west side," Mayor Jim Miller said.
