HOLLADAY, Utah -- A portion of the Mount Olympus Wilderness area that was closed to the public due to the "Neffs Fire" has been reopened, including the Mount Olympus trail itself.

The fire continues to burn about a mile up Neffs Canyon, estimated at 60 acres with 65 percent contained as of Sunday.

Neffs Canyon trail remained closed Friday, as did a portion of the wilderness area. View the closure map below:

The steep terrain of the area where the fire is located has made firefighting efforts difficult, but fortunately the fire has grown slowly. It has been 60 acres since Sunday.

The fire has been determined to be lightning-caused.
