DELTA, Utah — Millard School District is once again providing free meals to enrolled students.
Meals will be available at schools in the Delta and Fillmore areas. Students must be enrolled in one of these schools to qualify.
The food can be picked up in the cafeteria of the child's school between 11:30 and 11:45 in the morning and deliveries are not available.
Parents with online students are being asked to fill out a survey each night if they plan of picking up a meal the next day in order to help with food count.
In addition, students enrolled in the online program will receive a breakfast for the next day when they pick up their lunch.
Approved funding through the United States Department of Agriculture will allow the district to feed students through the end of the year or until funding runs out.
Since the expiration date is unknown, the district is encouraging parents to enroll for free and reduced meals if they are in need of further assistance.
