SALT LAKE CITY — The two candidates running for a hotly-contested U.S. Congressional seat to represent part of Utah participated in a debate Monday evening.
Rep. Ben McAdams, the Democratic congressman in office since ousting Mia Love in 2018, faced Republican challenger Burgess Owens in the event organized by the Utah Debate Commission.

The race has been fierce, including attack ads from political super PACs on both sides of the aisle.
Utahns must register to vote by Oct. 23 in order to receive a ballot.
