MIDWAY, Utah — A Utah man was found dead Sunday after an off-roading accident at Wasatch Mountain State Park.
Anthony Patrick Dugmore, 61 years old from Wasatch County, was out on a hunting trip, traveling alone in his utility terrain vehicle (UTV). He last had contact with family Saturday afternoon.
His family reported to emergency dispatch that he didn't return home, and after a search and rescue mission involving multiple agencies, he was found dead Sunday morning.
His body was found with the UTV in the Little Deer Creek area of the park at the bottom of an embankment off the trail. Authorities believe he was wearing a seatbelt but no helmet.
No further details on how the accident happened were released, and it is under investigation.
