RICHFIELD, Utah — A magnitude 3.5 earthquake was recorded in Sevier County Saturday afternoon.
A notification from the United States Geological Survey reports the earthquake struck at 3:17 Saturday afternoon near Joseph, Utah.
The exact location was about 3.7 miles South-Southwest of Joseph. No injuries were reported associated with the earthquake.
USGS reports that a total of 22 earthquakes with magnitude 3.0 or higher have happened around that area since 1962. The largest has been a magnitude 5.2 earthquake that happened on October 4, 1967.
