UTAH COUNTY, Utah — A 3.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded Monday in a mountainous region of Utah County.
The earthquake was centered 18.9 miles south-southeast of Spanish Fork, and nearly 60 miles away from Salt Lake City.
There were no reports of the earthquake being felt in heavily-populated areas of Utah and no damage was reported due to the remote location of the tremor.
