DRAPER, Utah — It's officially spooky season...and even the aquarium is participating in some spine-chilling fun.

Loveland Living Planet Aquarium has themed events, exhibits and activities planned for the entire month of October that are guaranteed to get the whole family in Halloween mood.

Bats, skeletons, spiders and a pirate ship adorn each exhibit and a special scavenger hunt allows participants to search for Big Foot, Yeti, The Kraken and the Loch Ness Monster.

The Haunted Aquarium is also hosting "trick-or-treating" events where guests are encouraged to pay a visit in costume and receive a pre-packaged treat bag.

"Frights Under Lights" is hosted on October 3 and 24, and lets visitors picnic on the plaza, accompanied by live music and a light show.

If you're looking for a night out from the kids, check out "Sips Under the Sea: Halloween," an adults-only evening on October 10 that includes dining and entertainment on the plaza.

Masks and social distancing are required at the aquarium. Hand sanitizer is also readily available for guests.
