SANDY, Utah — State Route 210 through Little Cottonwood Canyon closed for 1-2 hours Saturday afternoon for avalanche mitigation.
The canyon was closed to uphill traffic at 2:30 p.m. at the mouth of the canyon, and downhill closed at about 3:30 p.m.
The canyon was reopened at about 4:30.

Big Cottonwood Canyon also saw some delays due to a crash that required two tow trucks to remove the vehicles.
