LEHI, Utah — Police are looking for whoever did "donuts" in a public park in Lehi, damaging the field and sprinkler system.

Lehi City Police say the damage was done to Peck Park either Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.

Photos posted by the department show dozens of circles dug into the snow and ground beneath it. They also said there were numerous sprinkler heads destroyed.

A similar incident happened at the same park in October of 2019, when a vehicle drove in a figure-eight pattern on the newly-seeded soccer fields.

Police say it appears the vehicle entered and left the park from the same point on the south side of the field.

"We are hopeful that someone saw them or has heard something about this incident," they wrote.

Anyone with information on the incident is urged to contact Sgt. Lewis at 385-201-2143 or by email (llewis@lehi-ut.gov). Police added that tips will be kept confidential.
