Helicopter crashes during training flight in Herriman

HERRIMAN, Utah — A helicopter crashed in a Herriman field after it experienced mechanical issues Saturday.

An image of the helicopter released by Unified Fire Authority. It's daytime. The helicopter, which is black with red branding for "Bucked Up", sits in the field as fire crews examine it.

Unified Fire Authority says the helicopter was conducting a training flight prior to the crash. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the helicopter's rear rotor was broken off as a result.
