HEBER CITY, Utah — If you've been issued a parking ticket in Heber City, there's an easy and charitable way to pay it off.
According to Heber City Police, the city will forgive a parking ticket in exchange for a donation of five non-perishable, non-expired food items through February 22.
"All you need to do is bring in the five food items to either the Heber City Building, Heber City Public Works building, or Heber City Police building along with your citation," a Facebook post from Heber City PD says.
The donations are accepted during business hours, and the city will give the donated food to local food banks to support struggling families after February 22.
