SALT LAKE CITY — Sidelined skiers in Utah are helping medical workers treating COVID-19 patients.

With the ski season cut short, they’re donating goggles to those on the front lines who are running low on protective gear.

Ski Utah teamed up with U.S. Ski and Snowboard to gather donations for the initiative called “Goggles for Docs.”

So far, they’ve collected 450 pairs of goggles and shipped half of them to California and Colorado.

If you have new or used goggles you don’t need and would like to donate, organizers ask that you sanitize them, clean the lenses, put them in a Ziploc bag and drop them off at one of the 11 drop-off locations.

Locations of drop-off points and other information on Goggles for Docs can be found here.
