SUMMIT PARK, Utah — A garage ended up on the side of a hill after it collapsed late Wednesday in a Summit Park neighborhood.
The Park City Fire District said multiple crews were sent to the area after receiving a call at approximately 9:30 p.m. The detached garage had collapsed and slide down on the hill below the home.
According to fire officials, the garage was built in the 80s, and the new owner was so concerned about its age that they did not take any chances by putting items inside.
On Wednesday night, the owner heard cracking noises and saw the garage going off the side of the hill.
No homes were at the bottom of the hill, and only trees were damaged in the collapse.
