DELTA, Utah — A single-vehicle crash claimed the life of the driver early Friday morning near Delta on State Route 257.
It appears that the driver of a Ford F-250 failed to negotiate a gradual turn to the left and overcorrected, crossing both lanes of before rolling several times and leaving the road, according to the Utah Department of Public Safety.
The driver, the single occupant of the vehicle, was ejected and died at the scene. The crash is under investigation, but excessive speed and impairment are thought to be possible contributing factors.
On Saturday, authorities identified the driver as 32-year-old Daniel C. Bliven of Grantsville.
