EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah — Eagle Mountain needs your help to choose names for its snowplows.

The city asked residents for name suggestions last week — inspired by Scotland's fleet of "gritters" going viral for their names like “Mr. Plow,” “Gangsta Granny Gritter,” and “Spready Mercury” — and the responses poured in.

After the Facebook post received more than 200 comments, the city narrowed the suggestions down to 20 creative names.

They posted an online survey where you can vote for up to three names.

The choices are, in order of appearance:

  • Snow Way Jose
  • Zamboni Express
  • Scrapes of Wrath
  • Plow-a-bunga
  • Slush Puppy
  • Plowy
  • Bessie
  • Flurry Fighter
  • Old Salty
  • Chilly Billy
  • Mr. Plow
  • Ice Ice Baby
  • Sir Salt a lot
  • Plowasaurus Rex
  • KaPlow
  • Blizzard Wizard
  • Weegee
  • Plowy McPlowface
  • Kirby
  • Scoops

Voting is open until Sunday, and the winners will be chosen next Monday (Feb. 8).
