The Utah Dept. of Alcoholic Beverage Control says with the coronavirus pandemic, it is trying to keep customers safe with the holiday rush coming.
“We're trying to keep people socially distanced in the store,” said DABC spokesperson Terry Wood. “It's difficult enough as it is, and it's liable to be cold out there the day before so especially this year, shop early before Thanksgiving. Get it out of the way and avoid that Thanksgiving rush.”
The DABC says this week would be the best time to shop to avoid any crowds and the best times are between 12:30 and 2 p.m.
