COVID-19 does not care about county lines.
While Utah still sees more confirmed cases in Salt Lake and Summit Counties, the overall growth trend is moving outward.
On Friday, three counties announced their first cases: Garfield, Uintah, and San Juan.
The San Juan case was announced by the County Health Department and the Navajo Health Service, suggesting it may be on the Navajo Reservation. The Navajo Nation has experienced a significant outbreak with more than 70 cases, most of them in Arizona.
Among Utah’s more populated counties, Weber, Davis, and Wasatch have seen significant growth in cases from Wednesday to Friday.
