Cottonwood Heights Police look for hit-and-run suspect

COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah — Cottonwood Heights Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a hit-and-run suspect from an accident last week.

Police say that on Wednesday, the man pictured above was involved in an accident in a Taco Bell parking lot. They say he neglected to wait at the scene for police to arrive and left without giving his information to the victim. Police did not specify what the nature of the accident was.

In the photos, the man is seen wearing a blue puffy-style winter coat, sunglasses and a gray baseball cap with a white "PETZL" logo on it.

He was driving a white Toyota Tundra with a temporary registration tag in the back window.

Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call the department at 801-944-7013, ask for Detective Griffith and/or reference case number CH2020-13611.
