WEST JORDAN, Utah — Traffic was closed on Redwood Road in the area of 9400 South following a fatal crash late Saturday morning.
According to officials with West Jordan Police department, they received a call around 10:00 a.m. reporting a crash near 9100 South Redwood Road, where a Silver Cadillac passenger car was pulling out of a private driveway and turned in front of a Ford pickup truck that was driving north.
The driver of the pickup truck was unable to stop in time and crashed into the driver side of the Cadillac.
The driver of the Cadillac, a 99 year-old West Jordan woman, died at the scene.
Traffic was closed for several hours as the WJPD accident team investigates the scene of the crash.
