BOUNTIFUL, Utah — After announcing in November that the "Braves" mascot will be retired, Bountiful High School administrators have narrowed down the options for the school's new mascot to four choices.

Now, they are giving the public a chance to weigh in.

On a website intended for the general public to express their favorite option, administration said they are close to making a decision.

"While the final decision will be made by the BHS administration, student and public input is a valuable part of the decision making," it stated.

The final choices are:

  • Bears
  • Blazers/Trailblazers
  • Lightning/Bolts
  • Redhawks

The survey is open to anyone, but it does ask the taker how they are connected to the school (i.e. parent, alumni, teacher, community member, student at another school). It is intended for non-BHS students.

The survey will close March 1. Click here to vote.
