PLEASANT GROVE, Utah — The Utah County Sheriff's Office recovered a body Friday from the area of Battle Creek Falls, located above Pleasant Grove.
Sgt. Spencer Cannon with UCSO said the body was initially discovered by hikers around 10 a.m. The body recovered and was removed from the water just after 1 p.m.
Cannon later confirmed that the victim was a woman, believed to be in her 20s. Authorities are working to confirm her identity and the cause of her death.
