UPDATE: TOOELE POLICE CONFIRM MIA HAS BEEN FOUND

--------------------------------------------------

The Tooele City Police Department says its becoming "more concerned" because they have yet to receive any tips about a teen girl last seen Tuesday.

The Utah Department of Public Safety and the Tooele City police issued the alert Wednesday.

Mia Elektra Richards, 14, was last seen Tuesday around 2:30 p.m. when she told family she was going to meet up with friends. However, Richards never showed up and no one has had contact with the teen since she went missing.

Richards requires medication that she did not take with her; she also took no additional clothes or belongings.

Authorities say Richards is 5'2" with hazel eyes and hair that is faded pink, blue, and black. Police say she now may be wearing a long red sleeve crop top and long black and red plaid leggings.

Anyone with information on Mia's whereabouts is urged to call the Tooele City Police Department at 435-882-8900 or 435-882-5600 and choose Option 1.
