Sunday’s COVID-19 numbers have been released by the Utah Department of Health.
629 new cases have been reported, bringing the statewide total to 29,484 lab-confirmed cases.
17,303 of those cases are considered “recovered,” having been diagnosed more than three weeks ago and not passing away.
413,352 tests have been conducted, 7,706 more since Saturday.
209 people are currently hospitalized in connection to the virus. 1,824 people have been hospitalized since March.
Three new deaths have been reported, including:
- A female in Salt Lake County between the ages of 45 and 64 who was not hospitalized at the time of death.
- A male in Utah County between the ages of 24 and 44 who was hospitalized at the time of death.
- A female in Garfield County between the ages of 65 and 84 who was hospitalized at the time of death.
