MERIDIAN, Idaho — A 6.5-magnitude earthquake hit central Idaho Tuesday just before 6 p.m.
The quake occurred approximately 45 miles West of Challis, Idaho, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, and it was even felt by some Utahns along the Wasatch Front.
