HURRICANE, Utah — An 11-year-old boy died following a watercraft accident in Sand Hollow State Park on Monday.

Ethan David Law was riding on a personal watercraft with an adult and another child when it collided with another watercraft on the park's reservoir. The other craft also had an adult and two children riding on-board.

All six occupants, who were wearing life jackets, were thrown into the water.

One man and two children were rescued by a boat and brought to shore where they were all given CPR until emergency crews arrived. All three were transported to Dixie Regional Medical Center.

Law died of his injuries Tuesday; the other two sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident is being investigated.
